Linda Bīriņa

Linda Bīriņa is a sworn advocate with over 20 years of experience representing clients in civil and commercial disputes before courts of all instances as well as before the European Court of Human Rights. 

Linda is recognized and one of Latvia’s leading media and privacy law experts, advising and representing clients in cases involving freedom of expression, the right to private life, defamation, violations of honour and dignity, reputational harm, protection of journalistic sources and related media law matters. Linda is regularly invited to speak at conferences and to lead workshops on media and privacy law.

In addition to her core specialisation, she has extensive experience in copyright, advertising law, consumer rights and personal data protection.

In 2014 Linda Bīriņa was included in Forbes “30 Under 30” list of the most influential young professionals.
